This image accompanied an article on trans persons in the Irish Independent, 26 September 1987. Readers of this encyclopedia will of course recognise the anguish of being trapped in the wrong gender.
Anyway I put the picture into Google App to see if the picture had been used elsewhere.
Google App totally failed to get it:
This puzzle requires matching the visual elements of the long shadow in the foreground to the correct person standing in the background. The shadow belongs to the second woman from the left (the one wearing the sleeveless V-neck dress and a headband).Visual Evidence Breakdown
- The Hair: The shadow shows long, wavy hair flowing backward with a distinct thick headband across the top of the head. Only the second woman is wearing a headband.
- The Dress/Sleeves: The shadow features sleeveless, bare arms connecting directly to the shoulder line. The woman on the far left has puffy short sleeves, and the woman on the right has long sleeves with a high collar.
- The Hands: The shadow's hands are clasped together tightly right in front of the waist. This matches the exact posture and hand placement of the second woman.
If you enjoy visual brainteasers, I can provide more puzzles. Would you prefer a logic grid puzzle, a lateral thinking riddle, or another spot-the-difference challenge?
