In the 1970s she joined the Raelian Church and persuaded other strippers to also join.
The FiertéTrans organization in Montréal honours an outstanding member of the transsexual community each year with its Lana St-Cyr trophy.

Namaste seems quite clear that before Lana St-Cyr were Dick Montgomery, Malva Bolda, Billie McAllister at Rockhead’s Paradise starting in 1946. Rien pour diminuer l'importance de Lana St-Cyr, mais juste pour suggérer une modification de texte qui serait plus véridique.
